08:00 AM - Departure from Trabzon Meet in front of our agency in Trabzon and begin our scenic drive towards Batumi. The guide will provide valuable information about the tour and help with visa requirements as we approach the Sarp Border. St. Andrew’s Statue After crossing the border into Georgia, our first stop is the St. Andrew’s Statue, a significant landmark symbolizing the connection between Georgia and Christianity. Gonia Citadel Next, we visit Gonia Citadel, where the mausoleum of St. Matthias, one of Jesus’ 12 apostles, is believed to rest. Explore the citadel’s rich history and enjoy its panoramic views. Adjara Museum & Virgin Mary Church We proceed to the Adjara Museum and Virgin Mary Church, offering a glimpse into the area’s cultural heritage. Take a leisurely one-hour walk through this lush green space, enjoying the diversity of plant species. Poseidon Monument, Medea Monument & Opera Buildings After visiting the park, we return to Batumi’s city center, where we will see the Poseidon Monument, Medea Golden Post Monument, and the Opera & Drama Buildings—all key landmarks that showcase the city’s rich history and artistic culture. Free Time in Batumi Take some free time to explore Batumi’s charming streets, enjoy some shopping, or relax by the Black Sea. 08:00 PM - Return to Trabzon After a full day of exploration, we return to Trabzon in the evening.
