During times of war, it could shelter up to 5,000 people. Soganli Valley - A hidden gem in Cappadocia, this valley houses multiple rock-hewn churches and monasteries with Byzantine-era frescoes. The scenic hiking trails offer stunning views of table-top mountains and secluded settlements. Sobessos - Visit an ongoing archaeological excavation site revealing intricate mosaic houses and Roman-era structures, discovered in 2002. Lunch - Enjoy a selection of traditional Turkish dishes at a local restaurant.
